Risk Zoning of Permafrost Thaw Settlement in the Qinghai–Tibet Engineering Corridor

The Qinghai–Tibet Plateau is the highest and largest permafrost area in middle low latitudes of China. In this region, thaw settlement main form expressway subgrade disaster. Therefore, quantitative analysis regionalization study deformation are great significance for construction maintenance region. This paper establishes a prediction model using coefficient depth. depth was predicted by mean annual ground temperatures active-layer thicknesses Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network model, determined according to type ice content. Further, distribution characteristics risk region were mapped analyzed. results showed that able be divided into four levels, namely significant risk, high medium with areas these levels covering 3868.67 km2, 1594.21 2456.10 km2 558.78 respectively, total level had proportion among all mainly distributed across Chumar River Basin, Beiluhe Basin Gaerqu regions. Moreover, content found factor affecting settlement, increase as increased.
